PDV Interieur: from duplicate drafting to one technical project source

PDV Interieur designs and manufactures interiors for residential and commercial clients. Before KORPUS was introduced, each design was created and then rebuilt in other software for production planning. This took time and increased the risk of changes not being applied consistently.

Proven in practice

Real-world experience

The software stands out for its ease of use. The training sessions were to the point and delivered by committed trainers who know what they are talking about.

The challenge

Design and production planning were too disconnected. Each change had to be repeated in several places, and machine data was not created until later in the process.

PDV Interieur therefore looked for a solution that:

  • brings designs together visually and technically;
  • reduces double entry;
  • obtains parts and operations from the same source;
  • can work with both the existing and upgraded machinery.

The chosen solution

With KORPUS, cabinets and interior elements are created in one environment. The same project data then forms the basis for production planning and machine control, including the beam saw.

VLECAD® guided the configuration and training so that employees learned not only the features, but also a consistent working method.

What changed in practice?

  • A design no longer needs to be completely redrawn in a second program.
  • Changes stay closer to one central project source.
  • Production planning and machine output are better aligned.
  • Employees gain more visual control over what they design and produce.

Software and production context

  • Software: KORPUS
  • Workflow: design, production planning and machine control
  • Machinery: CNC and beam saw
