Close to woodworking practice since 1987
VLECAD® was founded in 1987 on expertise in furniture production and CNC machine control. Its founders recognised early that digital information would play an increasingly important role in the woodworking industry.
As panel materials and bespoke interiors became more important, so did the need for software that not only controls machines but also understands a cabinet’s design and technical construction. KORPUS was developed entirely in-house from that experience.
Today, a new generation builds on the same foundation: combining practical expertise, in-house software development and reliable machine integrations.
In-house software, direct communication
KORPUS and AutoFIT are developed by VLECAD®. This allows our programmers, consultants, trainers and support staff to work directly with each other.
A workshop question does not get stuck between a distributor, an external developer and a machine manufacturer. We can analyse where the information originates, how it flows through the software and what the machine ultimately expects.
This direct communication helps us to:
